Hi all, I have a 2015 A8 trans with 4900 miles on it. Upon driving today the car started shuttering big time as I was driving at different speeds. Drove straight to a Chevy Dealer to check out in a few days. Could this be the A8 trans problem that many speak of or would you guys have any other ideas on what it may be? Am really pissed off about this!!! Anyone have a similar problem like this? Also if so did Chevy charge you for repairs that is over the 3 year warrenty?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Thanks for this D. This brings some great relief to me. Are you perfectly certain this is the case before I start screaming at them???
I am sure ....if it is your transmission its covered , now I dont know if I would start screaming as there are a lot of other things that could cause Shuttering ...one being a misfire or a bad coil pack ...
I have a 2015 A8 and had the same problem you have; along, with the RPM's going up and down on a level surface. Dealer installed a new torque converter and no more problems. The transmission also shifted much better between 8 and 4 cyl after the new T/C. Your car is still under warranty, be nice to your dealer.
