Default OEM Splash Guards

Are the fender contours on a base C7 the same as a Z51, Z06 or GS? I am referring to splash guard fit.
Thanks

I'm not so sure, someone had posted that at least one end of the Z06/GS used different guards from the base cars.

My understanding is that the base and Z51 contours and splash guards are identical. We have the GM aftermarket guards on our 2017 Z51, they help but do not completely eliminate the splash and rock chips you get along the rockers and the quarter panels just behind the doors. We had XPel put on our car in those areas, it takes some hits and likely would want replacement by 50k miles but much better than just the guards alone.

I have the GM guards installed on my Z06 and the fitment is perfect, although they offer very little protection on wide-bodies...

^^^
Did the same when I sold my 2014 and got a GS! Used only the rear and bought wider somewhat deeper ones from ACS for the front. They look fine with the Spats.

Ah, that's the comment that I semi-remembered.
So they will fit, but there are better choices for the front, correct?

ACS makes wider ones for the front, yea.

As I pulled the OEM tires off (PS3+ A/S) and have my GS pretty much condomized with Xpel Ultimate Plus, the OEM extended ones work fine for me

Yes... and a little wider in the front helps, i.e., ACS.

Yep was ready to use the GM splash guards I removed from my 2014 but posters said the ACS were needed for the wide front wheels that are equal to the Z51 rear.

It's been two years and so far no issues with chips including on the lower brake duct. I removed the discolored on the edges GM plastic and have no other plastic wrap.

Pic is ACS front and GM rear.
