I kind of feel the same way but there are some things I can't stand... mostly the CHROME since the Carbon Flash badges and other parts (splitter and skirts) are technically factory items I don't feel too bad about adding them. But the wheels? Sorry they gotta go. I might change the hood stinger as well - I'd like a carbon fiber pattern there if I get an exposed carbon roof. The scary mod would be the rear brake ducts since you can't undo that one, everything else would be reversible.

I said leave it alone, but I guess I did change some things... I did tint windows, and I did put black lugnuts to match the wheels.

I "modded" my C7 with corvette logo tire valve stem covers and GM splash guards. I should not have gone so wild.

Only thing I have done is tint (not really a mod) and MGW shifter. Some people go overboard and they end up looking tacky. To each their own, it's your car, do whatever you want.

Totally subjective to me, as to whether it suits my tastes. If its factory-like side skirts or spoilers on a base car, that is fine. Things like body kits to make it look like a Ferrari, hell no.

Do a bra, stone guards, sill protectors, and window tinting constitute nods, or protection from the elements?

I've already started modding mine, but do not have plans to go as mod crazy as I did on my 2003.
