Default Which Power Stop?

Which Power Stop brake pads do you guys use for street driving, Z23 or Z26? I do not track my car. Also, should I have rotors resurfaced with 14,000 miles on car?

According to this thread, the only difference between the two is the backing material on the pad. I went with the Z26 because it's a minimal cost difference.

If you haven't had any brake issues and don't track the car, I can't imagine you'll need any rotor work after that few miles. Just pop 'em in.

I agree, Z26 whether you track or not based on minimal cost difference.

Anybody know who’s got the best prices? Also on their web site they ask if you have co-cast or full cast rotors, how do you know which you have? My car is an early build 2014.

Watch Amazon...their prices sometimes take a huge dip. I got the rotor and pad kit for under $390...(today its $609).

You need to let us know if you are a StingRay or a Z51 - if you are a 2014 Z51 (like me) and you want both rotors and pads - you will need this kit cause you have the 2-piece rotor (early original design):

Power Stop K6532-26 Z26 Street Warrior

If you just want pads (again if your a Z51) then here are the product numbers:

I bought the Z26 before I knew the Z23 even existed, based on positive feedback at the time (two years ago). I have had no issues and recommend them for street use.

Put a want in the C7 For Sale section.

I found brand new in-the-box Z26 Powerstops there for $115 shipped (yes, they were)
