I think with this C7 special edition that should tell us that the C7 is done after 2019 production run
C6 had a bunch of them.

In 2007 a special edition Z06.
In 2008, a special edition Z06.

plus a bunch of other "special editions" and the C6 lasted until 2013.

Have a 2011 ZO6 Carbon Special Edition. It came with more than just stickers. It was the last to be introduced at a corvette corral, was displayed at Sebring in 2011. GM was to build 500, they ended up with 252. GM started the ZO7 package as a add on to 2011 ZO6,which caused the Carbon to stop production at 252. I have vin # 199. This Special Edition ended up being the best C6 ZO6 manufactured. It was a step down from the 2011 ZR1 because under the hood was a LS7 427.

The C7 already had some special packages. I think they were called the Atlantica or Pacifica editions with special decals, interior color options, etc back in 2015. The Carbon 65 was also a special edition as well as the C7R decal package.

I'm hoping it's more than just decals and trim and perhaps a more track-focused offering like the Gray/Orange trim Z06X that was circulating earlier. Complete with a roll cage.

Shoukd be an lt2 500 hp powertrain but most probably just decals and wheels.

1996 LT4 c4 was a hopped up powertrain but thats a pretty slim possibility...

Most of the time special editions as mentioned above in this thread.....its decals

There are already two special editions C7 cars.

2017 Grand Sport Collectors Edition, I believe only 1000 cars.

2018 Carbon 65 for the 65th anniversary. 650 cars world wide and 437 in the USA

Based on history, only decals, special rims, interior color.

Could be nice with a ZR front bumper for example and some Carbon 65 parts bin left overs..

That would look nice with the ZR1 front bumper.

I hope it doesn't look like the BOZO THE CLOWN or the BASKIN ROBINS PACE CAR editions?
