Hi all. Last month, we had an interesting chat about the alarm button next to the truck release on the left of the steering wheel. I told the story of the alarm going off when my wife was in the car while I was returning from shopping. There is one question remaining that I can't find the correct answer to, either from my manual (my friend) or at the Chev dealers. When I am preparing to turn off the car, with a passenger remaining in the car, when do I push that button......before I turn off the engine, or after?

Push it after you shut off the engine.
Next time you start it again, the alarm will automatically be enabled again
(you'll also notice the status is displayed on the DIC)
