Keep checking the BIG dealers online on a regular basis... such as Kerbeck's, et al. Then, you'll know for certain.

But, my advice is to just pick a time, suck it up, and buy. You can spend the rest of your life waiting for the next great deal.

no!!! For me, making a large purchase is the thrill of the chase which includes getting the best possible deal. I’m looking for a convertible manual also. I had a 2015 and traded it for a coupe. After owning both, the convertible is better.

Keep in mind, at some point real soon (at least that has been what is published on here) i.e. in the next 30-45 days, you will no longer be able to order a 2019 C7; and if, as suggested, that is the end of the C7, you will be sol.

I have been told....

If you order a Vette, you will only be able to use incentives that are available at the time of vehicle pickup, not at the the time of ordering. So available incentives today can not be used on a vette that is ordered today.

If you order from one of the big Vette dealers, you will get a good deal no matter what the current incentives are. Right now, Criswell gives an automatic 12% off the sticker price plus factory incentives, even on factory orders.

If you want that killer deal, you'll probably have to compromise on color, options, etc to get it. I say pay a "small" premium to get what you want.

Seems a bit out of sort. With lead times of 6-8 weeks from order to delivery, you'd have no idea exactly how much you'd be paying until quite a while after ordering.

It sure makes buying from dealer stock more attractive, assuming you can find something close to what you want.

You pay what you contract for at the time of ordering. IF THERE ARE ADDITIONAL REBATES, you will pay less. I don't see anything wrong with that.

I ask Mike Furman at Criswell about the order cut off date before I bought our GS> He said no one knows at this point when that will happen. So if Mike doesn't know, nobody knows. It's a crap shoot right now.

There's no way of knowing what rebates will be in effect at the time the new 2019 is delivered to you. Just order it. BTW, who's your dealer?

I sat down with a Chev. dealer that explained it this way; "we don't know what GM rebates will be on the date your car is delivered to you at our dealership. We can offer you an MSRP discount of -4%, plus any rebates applicable on the date you come and pay for the car."

..This particular Chevrolet dealer then got real defensive when I cited the every day current discount from a CF sponsoring dealer. It was comical watching the squirrel squirm, claiming that the other Chevrolet dealer was selling it below cost. I said, that may well be, but it's -$5K less than your silly price.

Finding a new M7 vert even at the big dealers is near impossible. Very few out there.
