Default Misaligned door is bugging me. Is this normal?

Also, when I'm at an speed above 60mph, I can hear the wind through my door, on my left shoulder. Could this be related? How do I get both of this fixed?

Thanks

If it's under warranty take it to the dealer. Their body shop should be able to handle it.

How to fix? Dealership. I wouldn't want to adjust the door and have it hit anywhere and start pealing the paint off.

Have you already BEEN to the dealer and had it worked on? If not, why not try going there and see what they can do.

That is definitely NOT normal. Have it addresses as soon as possible. How does it look from the outside?

the trim piece on your door is adjustable. the metal trim pops out and there are screws holding that long thin leather trim piece, and the screw holes have slots...mine was misaligned, with the outside looking normal, so I just adjusted it myself...

Here's your fix OP. That's so easy even I could do it. This is why I love this forum. The information here is endless.

and if you pop into CFOT every now and then, you'll find info that you'll never ever need, nor want to know.

Amazing info everyone! I'll take it to a dealer and have them take a look for me, since I also have the windy noise problem. Hoping to be something cheap!

Thanks you all!

If everything is aligned properly from the outside, then your problem is limited to the interior trim.

Ah, yes. I missed this question earlier. From the outside everything looks normal, properly aligned

If the door looks nice and straight and even all the way around on the outside, its the door trim panel on the inside that needs to be adjusted or modified..

If you take it to a dealership or any other bodyshop be d**ned sure that whomever is going to work on it has successful experience with other C7 Vettes... seriously! Best of luck.

Good luck with taking it in to the dealership....
I'm going to bet they say it's normal.

Probably only after opening it up and charging me with labor.

It’s not normal as mine is perfect. FWIW, I told my dealer to inspect and adjust all exterior and interior panel gaps/joints before delivery or don’t bother delivering. All were perfect. Your dealer should be able to adjust this with no problem.
