I saw that during one of the pit stops, flame at idle, but cleared as soon as the RPM came up. Wonder if all the GTLM competitors exhaust exhibit the same characteristics?

Just as I was typing I saw another view of the exhaust flame, there is a metal plate of some material on top of the skirt where the outlet is.

Without the metal plate I doubt the side skirts would last very long.
