Default Bought my first Vette at 25 years young

Hi All,

I found this forum about a year ago (didn't create an account until today as I prefer to just read forums versus interact) and it, along with a few other key drivers really made me fall in love with the corvette. While I tried my best to wait for the C8 release (no official announcements from GM yet was really the nail in the coffin), at 25 years young I decided to trade in my Camaro SS for a Z51 2LT this past Friday and boy is she pretty I made a quick video of her below, but I just want to say thank you to all. I feel so blessed to be in a car of the magnitude at such a young age!

Nice job, good looking car. You have just lowered the local Vette owner average age by about 20 years! I see you are in the Cinci area. If you PM me I can tell you about some local cars & coffees and other car events around here, if you don't know about them already. (Not starting until spring, of course).

Congratulations. I was 29 when I bought my first more years back than I want to admit. It's good to see younger folks carrying the tradition into the future. Welcome to the family, and welcome to the forum.

Daltons3,

Welcome aboard the Forum, and the 460-HP/465-lb/torque. club.

Please take your time in getting familiar with the Stingray?

*She will certainly bit you! if you miss behave.*

My first sports car in 1980 had 135-HP maybe? (1975, 914, red, 2.0)

Oh yeah, and I did get lots of traffic tickets too.$$$

Keep it fun and light, and enjoy the experience while your are young man.

Many thanks,

Ray

Congratulations. I bought my first new Corvette when I was 24 and my second when I was 25. It has been. I was dating my wife when I purchased the first one and here we are 44 years later, still together and the proud owners of 2 Corvettes. And the adventure continues.

Congrats on that beautiful C7. I was 28 back in 2004 when i got my first vette. Loved that car and had so much fun in it. Be safe with yours. I did do so many dumb things in my first one. Lucky no on was hurt. I finally got back to getting another last year. People do not realize getting a vette is almost attainable by anyone that wants to make sacrifices for it.

Congrats and welcome!! Car looks amazing . The best part about buying it young is that you get to enjoy it longer!
