Wheel lug socket size

Wheel lug socket size
What is the size of the wheel lugs socket? I have a weird situation. My used C7 came with a wrench, but it does not fit the aftermarket wheels it came with. The previous owner changed the lug nuts for smaller ones to fit in the wheels. It is the same pattern, just smaller. The tire place had a socket from autozone, but didnt know the size, just that it is smaller. I went into autozone but the ones in there looked bigger (inside the packaging). So for a starting point, what size is the standard socket that came with your C7? Then I can try to find a smaller one online and go from there.
Has anybody bought a replacement and happen to know?
Thanks! Wilson

Yeah, the factory lugs use a 19mm socket. Been that way for years.

They "may" have used a 12 x 1.50 Thread size Gorilla lug nuts like these, I used them and they are great... I have 2 sets, one black set and the other chrome

I'd recommend these, instead:
These Gorilla lug nuts are forged aluminum, and only weigh 0.6 lbs, as opposed to 2.2 lbs of OEM lug nuts. They're also much smaller in diameter, allowing any wheel to be installed.

Yep, 19mm, but I have also used 3/4” without any issues, but don’t recommend.

Keep in mind aftermarket wheels sometimes use different style lug nuts. The difference is at the base of the nut where it touches the wheel. There are conical, spherical, tuner styles etc. My after market wheels use a different style than my OEMs.
