Default C7 PDR question

Hey fellas! I was under the impression my Z51 2LT had the PDR camera. There is no SD slot in the glove box and i don't see any settings in the infotainment center either. It has valet mode though. I thought valet mode meant PDR? Am I wrong or just missing something?

You sure you got a 2LT? You sure your car is later than 2014?

Yes and yes, sure on both. It's a 17 Z51 2LT.

You only have PDR if you have nav. Option on 1LT and 2LT. Standard on 3LT. No glove box slot, no nav or pdr.

edit: valet mode on non pdr just locks the glove boxes and maybe the hatch, can’t remember.

You beat me to this. I was just about to say the car does have nav! I haven't used it but it has the icon on the screen.

If it actually has nav, you need to look harder in the glove box. If you have Nav, you have a PDR. If you don't have a PDR icon in the menu, or a NAV button, you don't have nav or pdr.

I will look again in the glove box but I really doubt I missed it. I had the whole glove box out when I was replacing my dash pad and didn't see anything. But I definitely have the nav button on my screen.

You need this icon for PDR. If you do not have it on your first screen, press the right arrow on the far right of the screen to go to next page. If you don't have the PDR Icon, then the NAV icon is OnStar NAV and not the built in NAV which comes with the PDR option. Slot for SD car is on far left side of glove box.

This is wrong!!!
If you have a 2LT, NAV was a $795 stand alone option, and you will not have an SD slot in the glove box; PDR was a $1,795 option and includes NAV. If you have PDR it will have a PDR icon on the main screen.
Only 3LT has NAV and PDR standard -in 1LT & 2 LT, both NAV and PDR w/NAV are options.

Curious to see if someone confirms this because for 2015 I am positive they were bundled. You could not get one without the other.

Op, have you tried your nav to be certain you have it?

Depends on the year. I can tell you for a FACT that a 2019, you get the NAV and PDR in the same package and can NOT get one without the other

(and Nav was a $795 option in MY 2014 as there was no PDR until 2015 I believe)

I checked last night and when I hit the nav icon it tells me to contact OnStar to set a route. And definitely no SD slot in the glove box so that settles it. Thanks guys for all your help.

And as PDR wasn't available in 2014, seems that is settled science!

I wish GM would still have them separated. I'm fine with android auto, but would like to have the nav. I have no use for the PDR. Oh well, I guess it's one of those "profit deals".
