Performance shifting activated

I saw a new message on the DIC the other day, while passing another car pretty aggressively, I noticed a note saying "Performance Shifting Activated" I don't recall seeing that in the past, and couldn't find any mention in the manual. Does anyone know what this means? I might have imagined it, but it actually felt like a more aggressive shift.

When you're in Sport or Track mode, give the throttle a quick blip and you will activate it. It will hold gears longer.

Thanks, great link! I'll have to play around with this mode, get a little more familiar. Going to Spring Mountain next month, I'm sure they will discuss it. That Tadge character sure knows a lot about cars. He should try and get a job with GM or something!
