Default Side mirror failure

My right side power mirror stopped wording on my 2018 GS. I haven't tried to adjust it for many months after I originally made the driver adjustments shortly after I bought the car new last year. However, today, after I had coincidentally made a rare visit to the dealer to get my oil changed along with a safety inspection, I decided on the way home that a slight adjustment might be needed to the right side mirror, but no cigar in getting the right switch and toggle to work.

Any one experience a failure with their power mirror?

Haven't seen much on this problem, but your car should be under warranty so a visit to the dealer may be in order. Good luck.

Not trying to be a smartass my friend, but did you make sure the switch was pushed for the right side mirror before you tried the adjust? The reason I ask is I have missed that step before, and thought something was wrong with the mirror.

Yep.

It looks like this is not a common problem; only for me!

Just for grins, try a couple manual folds of your mirror and then see what happens.
I've had issues with my Chev truck (folding mirrors) before and played with the mirror manually. Almost like doing a reset.
Cant say it will work but if its maybe an intermittent wire break in the mirror it might work.
If I was messing with this out of warranty I would start by pulling pins/wires at the switches and swapping left to right and see if the problem transfers. Thats cuz I'm a cheapskate and I like to see how sh*t works.
I have seen the motors fail and the gears strip but that shouldn't be the case with yours as it has been in that position for awhile, basically not adjusted/run thru the up/down/left/right motions.
Good luck brother....

Very uncommon problem but an easy item for your dealer to replace.
