Hello,
I have the US 3300 model 1051 battery charger. At times the green light goes out and the "charging process " amber light blinks rapidly and goes back to full amber then back to green after a short period of time.
Is this normal ?
I suppose there is a constant draw with the cars electronics computer system that runs the battery down and the charger has to compensate, thus the rapid blinking.
Did I answer my own question??
Thank you,

Take it out and plug it in again or rotate it in the socket. Mine does it all the time. Nothing to worry about, just a bad connection.

Rich, what Robert is saying is with the unit pulled into the wall socket take the car plug, push it into the socket, and rotate it a little. That's what I do, and it's always charged properly. Rotating the plug while pushing assures me the plug is seated all the way into the socket.

OH, no. I haven't done that as yet. I did take it out of the car socket and plugged it straight back in, but I was afraid to rotate it while plugged in. Will give it a try, thanks !!!

I have rotated the 3300 plug in the C7 charging port as well to insure better connection, however keep in mind that you should only connect and disconnect your 3300 plug to your C7's charging port when your 3300 is disconnected from your AC electrical outlet.

Been in the garage ( 24' wide by 64' long. Built the first one (24 x 32) in 1978 , doubled it in 2000 ) twice now for approx. 15 - 20 min. and it I have not seen blink rapidly as yet. I will sneak up on it later on tonight before I go to bed to see if I can catch it <
Thanks again!!

I agree. I have the factory charger for mine and that's what it says to do when using it.
I have sneaked up on it 4 times and haven't seen it (blink) go into charging mode yet. I will be watching it more tomorrow when I have more garage time.
Thanks again all !!
