Delimma! I found a 2017 Z06 1LZ with 3K miles. Auto check report termed the car a “lemon”. I reached out to the dealer and they explained the dash lights went out. They replaced the HVAC to correct the problem. Would you chance and purchase the car? They have a 1yr or 12k mile buyback policy.
How much? Would have to be an insane deal for me to consider and even then I'd want to see the full service records (not just what 'the dude' told you).
NEVER BUY A LEMON! If it was a simple fix the dealer MUST have fixed it. They don't return cars like that.
For example, I bought a 2019, took the car 4 times to the dealer for the same problem, they FIXED IT! I could have invoked the lemon law, but the car is more than fine.
Anyway, don't buy whatever the dealer tells you, if it is a LEMON I am sure it has some bad mechanical problems, it may be an accident waiting to happen, and you do not want to spend your money on a problematic vehicle that you don't even know what's wrong with it! For your safety and the safety of others, DO NOT BUY THE LEMON.
Get a great deal from one of the main dealers, Kerbeck, McMulkin, or Criswell. They are offering fantastic deals on C7's moving them to create space and inventory for the C8s!
New Z06 at that price is hard to locate.. I found a couple GS 1LT around that price. After reading the threads, I believe I’ve come to a decision to refocused my purchase in GS supposed to the Z.. thanks for the advice and guidance!
