I just picked up my new C7 last week so I'm leaving the C6 world--and forum--and moving over here to learn/discuss things about the C7. My initial question may have been asked and answered somewhere along the way since the C7 first came out in 2014, but I'll ask it anyway.
Has it ever been discussed for Chevrolet to offer an option (wishfully at no cost) of all-weather tires--at least on the base cars--right from the factory? With Michelin being the tire supplier for the cars, it would seem like a no-brainer to offer A/S3's to Corvette buyers.
I'm running a 2005 with original tires. Tires aren't as grippy as they should be, but they're OK. No visible problems. Almost 3,000 miles in the last 3 months. YMMV.
