Les Stanford is very close to me, (8 miles from my work) but I haven't been there in a few years. I know they are a premier sponsor here on the forum and highly rated by most who have dealt with them. Can some of you guys/gals who have bought from them recently recommend a good salesperson? I really, really hate trying to deal with or talk to "gum shoe" sales people - talk BS and don't know their product. -- thanks Tom
Moran Chevy in Clinton Twp. would be closer to SCS. Don't know about sales as I bought mine as a CPO dealer demo from a New Jersey dealership but I am happy with the service there. Check out Matick in Redford Twp. as they have a very large selection (largest indoor Corvette selection in the country I've heard) and they also sponsor Corvette functions such as an annual police escorted cruise from the dealership to the Lingenfelter Museum and also a cruise to the Detroit Grand Prix complete with breakfast at the dealership, and at the track lunch, pit passes, special seating, Corvette corral parking, drive on the track experience, etc.

Thanks for the information I appreciate it. -- tom

I also dealt with Dennis, very easy to deal with. I phoned him one afternoon and drove down that same day for a test drive and to make the deal. Picked up the car two days later after it was prepped. No problems.

Thanks, I guess I'll have to give Dennis a call. They have a couple Z06's that I'd like to take a look at and I said in the original post; I just hate to spend my time trying to talk to some kid that doesn't know sh** about corvettes and the best sale he's made yet is a Cruze -- you know the type!!
Not sure on Les Stanford, but for George Matick, you definitely need to talk to Alan Johnson. That was my dealer for the Vette that I own currently. Extremely knowledgeable inside and out of all things Corvette given his professional and personal history. George Matick as of the past 3 years has also jumped into the Top 10 spot for yearly Corvette sales, and I think AJ has a lot to do with it.
Also coming from SCS, Matick is easy to get to. Just take I-94 West to I-96 West, exit Telegraph north. Longer drive, but it isn't about that in my opinion. It's my belief that when consulting about a vehicle of this type, all options must be considered.
James Fillmore is a great guy and I was very happy with him. My Stanford deal was amazing. #1 everything was done over the phone. #2 the whole deal paper work was done by fedex. #3 I never once was in a business office or tried to be up sold on anything
#4 they appraised my trade by photos only. #5 they NEVER drove or really looked my trade over once I got there. I was out of the Dealership in less than a half hour once I arrived with my new Grand Sport. Amazing dealer.

Same here...
Dealt with James Fillmore via email...& some phone
CPO 2016 Z06
Everything went smooth, sent pics, videos on request from his personal cell phone.
Would do it same way no hesitation!
Goran is great, extremely honest and knowledgeable. I got my 2016 Stingray from him and my 2019 Grand Sport is on the way.
Goran was amazing. Got my beautiful 2017 1LT Z51 around a year ago.
He is on top of things. Very clear and prompt communication. Provided pics. Everything in the paperwork and the state of the car was exactly as he described.

I use the Yelp app, anytime I’m headed to a new dealer and look for patterns. Usually the good salesman will ALWAYS get consistently good reviews.

I agree, It was like the Dream Deal. No was never in Fillmore's vocabulary. In fact when I left the store I was in shock how easy it was to spend $70 grand!
Bought 8,000 mile used C7 from Les Stanford over the phone last year. I said I want to inspect it before deal is finalized. Car was already up in the air when I arrived. All the paperwork was pre-prepared and I was outta there in no time.
My only complaint is that they wouldn't move off the posted price, but in hindsight that didn't really matter because it has been an awesome trouble-free car.

Alan is awesome. I didnt buy my car from there and he still helped me out. He's very active in the racing scene for these cars and Mattick was the only place that would set up my suspension they way that I wanted (DSC settings)
Les stanford turned me off because their vettes are all out in the lot in the weather, and they are closed on Saturdays.
