I purchased a GM supercharger from a Z06. My intent is to place this on my Stingray, Z51. I have heard two differing answers, one says that I need to replace the hood and other says that I can use the original head but will have to change the hood liner. Does anyone know the answer?

I pretty sure you have to replace the hood as the GM supercharger is why the Z06 has a different hood.

Matt a.k.a."managerman" has put a LT4 supercharger on his Z51. I'm pretty sure he kept the stock hood. You might want to send him a PM and confirm.
^ i noticed in the video that he appears to have the first gen supercharger - from when before they redesigned the bricks making them larger. If you look at a 2017+ Z06, you will see the supercharger looks a little taller and more squared off. Maybe this is something to consider, maybe not? But I thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention and await comments.
And yes the Z06 hood is larger than GS and Stingray
Here is a 2017+ supercharger from my 2017 Z06 for comparison
