I was going to suggest that. Some of the A8's (not all) had some problems (shudder) with the torque converter, and if you're planning on keeping the car it may be a good idea to get an extended warranty. There is also a TSB for a trans fluid change that is suppose to help. And, as stated do not pay 3000 bucks for that warranty. Call around, you can get the same GM warranty from any GM dealer.
