Remote start not functioning with hood open
2014 z51 a6 with the hood open I cannot do remote start. I looked and cannot find where there can be a sensor that knows when hood open or not?

Page 2-10 of the owner's manual states that the car will not do a remote start with the hood open.
Page 2-17 states the alarm will be activated if the hood is opened before disarming the security system, so I would infer from that that there is a sensor for the hood.
