Does anyone know if there are any age restrictions on your guest when you do the corvette owners school? My 10 yo son would absolutely be beside himself if he could sit in the classes and get a ride along with the instructors.
I think he's old enough, but double check. They encourage guests to attend classes with the students. My wife loved it, and she did ride-alongs with the instructors on virtually every track session.
^^^^ What Foosh says - I'd call or email them to find out.
I know when I was there the last time Chevrolet had a 16 year old girl taking the class -I believe that it was in one of the Chevrolet magazines in 2016.
My wife didn't ride with the instructors last time, but is going to when we go at the end of March.
He would still benefit from attending classes and likely find them very interesting. The building where classes are held is a very nice facility where he could wait while you're out driving, and the entire facility is very secure. Each track session or exercise is not that long, and he wouldn't be left unattended for long periods.
He absolutely will. He'll be the proverbial kid in a candy store. There are plenty of places for him to watch the action on the track, the food is great, he can pick up some cool Corvette hats, shirts, jackets, etc., and he'll learn a lot.
