Default Passenger side mirror auto tilt adjustment in reverse

How do you reset the passenger side mirror for auto tilt when in reverse?
I have had it set up but I would like to reset it to a new position. I have a level three interior with memory seats.
Thanks for the help.

Geez, it's been a long time since I did this (five years), but in Vehicle settings, you can determine whether none, DS, or both tilt in Reverse.

It might be different in other MY, but the same basic approach should get you there.

As far as a "new position" there is only tilt or no tilt. You can't set the degree of tilt or angle. Completely preset from where your mirrors are set when in a forward gear.

A "hack" that I do. I'm not a fan of how it positions the mirrors in reverse and I don't have a second driver. So I set memory position 2 with the mirrors the way I like them in reverse. Then whenever I want to use them I just press the button and only the mirrors move. Press 1 to go back.

Although quite vague, in the owner's manual, there is a mention of settings in the Infotainment settings (5-45) that mentions the reverse tilt-mirrors that can be turned on or off for either side of the car.

And here I thought I was the only one that thought of doing that. I didn't want the mirror to drop eveytime I put the car in reverse, only when I park next to a curb.

Two great minds think alike.
