I consider quick to access if it is located in a holster hanging under the steering column. That is quick to access and I can switch it to my belt holster before I exit the car. I don't leave my Kimber in the car unless it is locked in the trunk (Hospital, post office and other gun free zone crap).

Does not fit with clips in
A Springfield 9 and two full clips fit just fine ,,,no problem,,,clears door with no problem,,,Save The Wave

Never shot one of them, might have to try it as sure my range has one. I do have an 'old school' Ruger 357 Speed-Six:
