I assume you mean the tilting of the mirrors when shifting into reverse? If so you need to go into your settings menu on your touch screen and disable that feature.

I believe it's under Comfort & Convenience in the menu
From the owner's manual:
Vehicle Personalization Use the audio system controls to access the personalization menus for customizing vehicle features. The following are all possible personalization features. Depending on the vehicle, some may not be available. Infotainment System Audio System Controls To access the personalization menu: 1. Touch SETTINGS on the Home Page on the infotainment display. 2. Touch the desired feature to display a list of available options. 3. Touch to select the desired feature setting. 4. Press o BACK on the center stack or touch Back on the infotainment display to return to the previous menu.
Reverse Tilt Mirror This allows the feature to be turned on or off. Select Off, On - Driver and Passenger, On - Driver, or On Passenger.
Follow this flow chart. But I have a question. For those that set their mirrors to cover your blind spot, would the auto tilting be worthless?
On our 2017 3LT A8, the mirrors return to the appropriate memory position when the gear selector is moved from Reverse to Drive/Manual.
Even so, I didn't really like the system and turned it off- mirrors just follow the memory position at all times now.
The funny thing is the down tilt is useless if you have your mirrors properly set. They only way they work is if you set your mirrors to so that you can see the rear quarter panels of your car. Which is NOT how to set your mirrors.
The down tilt is useful if you have to parallel park a lot. I don't, but the first time I did in the C7 I titled the mirror so I wouldn't scrape my rims.
If you're the only one who drives your car, try setting the #2 seating position exactly the same but with the passenger mirror tilted to where you want it. Then just press the #2 button when you want to reverse. I don't know how this would work since I don't use the feature so I don't know how well this would work from a practical standpoint. Just a thought.

I have my mirrors set to see the blind spots. When I go to back up I adjust them both in so when I reverse I see the wheels. When I return to the car the mirrors go back to the original settings as mentioned above. Just takes seconds to adjust when backing up.
