I have a 2015 C7 Stingray, Z51 with a minor body issue. The fiberglass skin on the back bumper just above the emblem has disconnected from the brake light and water seeps in when I wash the car. It drips down inside the skin and out above the license plate.
Looks like I could put some type of adhesive in between the light and skin, then use compression to hold it in place while it drys.
I am by no means an expert on body work, I know virtually nothing. Any advice would help. Is this a do it at home project? Seems like some good advice and instruction would do the trick.
Thanks in advance!

My 2014 had this same issue where the bumper had a slight gap under the 3rd brake light. Dealer wanted to pull the bumper off to repair. I never messed with it as most people don’t even notice it.

My 2014 did the same. I had the dealer repair it. They had to order a specific adhesive so I had to wait a couple of weeks before taking it in. It did the trick - for about a year and then pulled away again. By then the car was out of warranty so it sits as is. I will be pulling the rear fascia off soon for another project so will fix it myself then.

Two Pix. Minimal gap, but water finds any and all openings. I would want to know if any electronics will be affected or if the skin is pressed to the inside body panels.
Car is out of warranty, so I'm looking for a fix. This is not the complaint department.
Water gets in there but doesn't hurt anything. That's not a watertight cavity back there anyway. Mine has been like that for a while and I wash it every weekend with no issues.
