If it works on the R3, per what I've read, it'll work on the R7 too.

How do you like the Escort Live feature? Do drivers manually report police like waze or does the 360 just push/pull constant updates? The updates only go to the Escort database server if users have WiFi/hot spot or does it also work with 4G?

I like the live feature and updates happen periodically but updates are via wifi, I have not tried via 4g and not sure if it can, Ill check now. Like I mentioned, I like the 360C over my R3 (in my Sonata) because of the arrows, wifi updates (no more removing from car) auto mute and looks better then my stubby R3, LOL... I recently sold my Uniden DRF7 and its range was to me as good as the R3, and slightly better than the 360c.. Hope this helps.

i have the blendmount, hard wire and R3. not interested in the R7, its mostly the same hardware and the arrows arent a thing, to me. if you get a legit threat you slow the hell down no matter where its coming from, at least here in socal.
you wire it up just like the guy in that youtube video up there says, purple and black wire, but i wasnt able to just make room via indenting things with a screwdriver or whatever so i just had to strip some of the jacketing and tie it off then tape it up with electrical tape, usual deal.
tip: its quite hard to pull that cover off, which sits along the roof behind the rear view mirror. pull hard and pull straight downward. when you go to blendmounts site there are 2 different versions of the mount, the difference seems to have something to do with the mirror itself, in other words what trim/options you have.

Here’s a link to save you a few bucks on the blendmount. The R3 tucks up under mirror well. Don’t worry about the R7. They will sell the clip for about $30 to convert it to fit. I have one in both my car and truck. Won’t mount a detector any other way.

You guys weren't kidding about the Blendmount price - I thought it was $99, but it's more for my mirror. They should at least include the hardwire kit at the price.
It's a great product, but I hate being price gouged.

Agree it’s a bit pricey. However we are all spending 50k on an impractical car😄. Once you mount your detector and hardwire it you don’t need to worry about it again. It won’t fall off and comes on and off with car👍🏻

I use a permanent mount on the windshield on the driver's side of the mirror. They can be purchased at Amazon/ebay and use 3M adhesive. I attach/detach constantly and the mount is rock solid and won't fall off like suction cups. I was afraid that the Blendmount would interfere with the already limited visibility under the mirror. I used a 15" MirrorTap for power and the leads are held securely in the mount (rather than dangling) when the radar detector is removed.

nope, get the 15" cord.
reason i mounted mine in the usual place was so that it can (sort of) pick up stuff from behind me and whatnot. granted, the R3 doesnt have the precious arrows that everyone loves, but whatever. know your enemy and all that, and if you have the detector in a place that makes it harder to pick up signals, welllll....

My mount costs less than $40
Same mount I used on my (gone) V1.
Sigh, I give up! I can't get rid of the attachments. LIVE WITH IT!

Yes, there are 4 screws in it. The trim is $100 if you want to go back to stock. I'll just take it off and fill the holes with plugs. I plan on keeping the car a long time so that situation is way down the road. You can't the mount unless you view it from the side.
