Hey folks! As Craig (Marcho Polo) mentioned, we normally do a Forum Dinner at Montana Grille either Thursday or Friday evening at the Bash. I’ve coordinated it for the last three years by reserving the Atrium room for our group which typically will be 12-20 folks. It is always fun and the food is great. Unfortunately, I will not be attending this year due to some health concerns with my wife. So, the mantle needs to pass to someone else if the Forum Dinner is to continue. Hope all who attend have a great time. I really hate to miss it. This will be first one I’ve missed since we attended our first in 2015.
sorry to hear you won't make it.... Does anyone want to try to arrange a dinner at Montana Grille for the forum members attending? I can call and reserve the space, just curious how many would like to meet?
Well, what about the NATIONAL tour to the factory this fall? I went on the one 5 years ago and I plan to go to this one 5 years later! We will certainly see the C8 reveal by then!?
Well maybe, they haven't opened the page to sign up for the tours yet. At $500 per and the fact that its not an assembly tour - it's an update tour, I wonder if it will sell out quickly or not? Personally I'm on the fence, that's a lot of money for a plant tour and I'm more interested in the car assembly.
This will be my first time at the Bash. I'm wondering if activities fill up before the event and if so what do you guys think are the "dont miss it" things I should sign up for ahead of time?
Thanks for any help

yes, most activities fill up quickly. Registration opened January 2 and by now any of the 'don't miss' things are likely full. Please check though. I don't even register for events as I've already been on most of them and just spend my time attending the other non registration required happenings at the museum. So, in other words, don't let events being full sway you from attending. Still lots to see and do!
I have decided to not go this year. Took wife last year and, while fun, wasn't the same not being able to tour the plant. We decided we'd go back when plant tours resumed. I had hoped the C8 would have been revealed by now and this year was going to be very exciting.
i think many of the faithful disappointed no C8 intro.
imo the longer this goes on (drags on?) the enthusiasm begins to ebb. It may be the C8 just isn't nearly ready for prime time, because it is such a major change from everything that has come before.
We're going. It's an easy drive for us from Clarksville, TN, about 1+15. The events that cost money seem to fill up fairly fast but the walk-in events usually have plenty of room. We attend all of the Paul Koerner free sessions (already did his deep dives on the C5 and C7). If you haven't been before, the C7 navigation session is informative. The "Meet The Board" is worthwhile if you want to know the status and future of the museum. The recent plant updates have been mostly talking around the elephant in the room.

Appreciate you doing it these last few years. Joined you a couple times. Thanks.
We have reservations but with not much happening may take a pass this year.
Heading out to Criswell next week to pick up our new Z next week.
