Corvette inspired SUV\crossover
With most mainstream sports car brands opening up in this area, do you think we will ever see a Corvette inspired crossover or SUV.
I know the chevy blazzer is a blazzer, but lets call a spade a spade. It looks like a camaro.
Corvette isn't its own brand....yet. But that doesn't mean they can't make a hipo version of one. For crying out loud, Porsche has 4-door sedans and multiple suv options.
I think the C7 has the best looks to go bigger, but of course I haven't seen the c8 yet.

I like HP and fun, so I have a Z06, and a Sierra Denali CC short box with the 6.2 A8, which at 420hp is a pretty darn fast truck.
IMO Cadillac should build a V version SUV. My wife had a 2011 SRX that was underpowered and Ok handling, which we traded in on an XT5, with more HP and better handling ...so a little faster and sportier.
However, we almost bought the Audi QS5 because it was supercharged and real slick -my wife liked the hotter performance, but she didn't like the styling as much as the XT5.
Since she only puts about 7k miles a year on the XT5, she said that she is going to keep it a long time ...unless Cadillac makes a XT5 V, because then this one is gone

Don't really like the render of the vette suv. Not a fan of the ZR1 grille and the shape looks like they stuck the front end on a raised mini-van. More styling please!

Porsche SUVs sell because the general public thinks of Porsche as an upscale prestigious brand. Corvette is not perceived this way.

Never say never, but I don’t see it happening for at least a long time.

You folks are talking like Corvette is a brand. It's just a model made under Chevrolet. It's not its own brand like Porsche and the other big names. And certainly wouldn't be a prestigious SUV. Besides there are more than enough SUV's if someone wants one of any brand.

I'm gonna be that guy..... so I certainly hope GM doesn't decide to bastardize the Corvette into an SUV.

If they just made the blazer an actual SUV (you know, RWD), they could do something cool like put an LT4 in it. Or even an LT1.
My problem is that I don't like any of the smaller SUVs. I have a 2000 4runner and my next truck will probably be a 2006 4Runner (just want a V8) or Lexus equivalent. I love lots of new trucks, but they're all way too big for me. I live downtown, am not obese, have one dog, no wife, no kids and no need for giant SUV. I also don't want a lifted car. I want an actual SUV. I've contemplated a newer 4runner, but they're miserable. Infotainment sucks, drive sucks, engine is mediocre. Interior reminds of something a 12 year old would design. Not paying $30k for that.

Unfortunately, Mary has already said GM is going "E". That means the Corvette SUV probably dead. I like Mary and think she is brilliant but passing on the Corvette SUV was a big mistake to make a lot of money while bolstering the GM image. A Corvette SUV would have obtained thousands of free advertising dollars as every auto publication and some of the regular press would trip over themselves to try one and report on it.
As for the Corvette "model" vs "brand" com'on, that's semantics. My guess is the CAFE regs had something to do with GM not pursuing this, but I still think it was a big mistake. Corvette would have outsold every other high performance SUV out there if the Corvette formula of performing with the best but costing much less was applied. By performing, I don't mean just quarter mile times or track times, but including factors for which folks buy SUVs including versatility.
I guess by now it's clear I'm bummed by the fact that GM didn't pursue this and yes, if there was a clear picture that one was coming out, I'd be all in.

That aside, that doesn't mean they won't still do it. Whether we admit it or not, Chevy doesn't make the Corvette because we are loyal to it. They make it to make money. With every brand dumping sedans in favor or more SUVs it makes sense to make one. Chevy could pull buyers away from Porsche and BMW brands if there was an option for a Corvette SUV. We know there is a market for SUV and for performance. I think it is an obvious move.
I would also argue that going E doesn't mean you can't do an SUV. Since the C8 was announced, there is be wide speculation that Corvettes are starting to go electric. We all know it will go there eventually.
A Corvette SUV may not ever happen, but I really doubt the reasons are because its not its own brand or because GM is moving to more electric vehicles.

You are technically correct, Corvette is not a brand. But I dare you to find a chevy emblem anywhere on it. They treat it like its own brand constantly.

Yes, never say never.
Callaway Aero Vette.
Ferrari FF
Could be an answer to the OP question.
Urus style, don't think so.
Cadillac or Chevy with a high horsepower engine and carbon brake option...sure.
