The 7 is a better overall sports car. I still have my 6, though, as I still like it/enjoy it.

I went from the C3 to the C7. The 7 was irresistible top to bottom, inside, outside!

After due diligence, unfortunately for Chev. I didn't care for the C6, regardless how many times I visited the dealers. The style, and too spartan seats/interior.

..My best advise; keep what you got - provided you like it better...👍

My C6 was a great Vette and now a nice buy for those just jumping in....I had no complaints about my 6. With that said my C7 is just that much nicer. It is faster, has more comfort and more bells and whistles and a warranty. This pretty much the way from generation to generation though. Each generation leapfrogs the previous. I actually like comparing the differnces and makes the Vette hobby fun and interesting. Over 60 years of heritage with each generation being considered cutting edge for the times.

I loved my C6 and kept it until the third model year (2016) of the C7 so minor bugs could be worked out of the C7. The C7 is a superior car in every way.

Not directly from C6 to C7 but from my C6 I do miss how everything was easier to DIY. If I didn't like the mag ride I could delete it with a Tech 2 program on my laptop.

The diff had gears that could be swapped and fluid changes were simple.

The visibility was better in the C6 since it had more glass.

I did have aftermarket seats and a harness bar in my C6 which I loved but competition seats in the C7 are leagues ahead.

Really I was going to get a C6Z or Grand Sport manual but I found a killer deal on a C7 Corvette that was cheaper than either with full history and very minor issues.

I like the E-LSD but would prefer a standard one with the other Z51 goodies but I'm a technician so I just prefer to DIY.

The C7 is an amazing car, more power, grip, technology, luxury, and the amazing appearance. I still love seeing other ones on the road but I don't get the wave if I'm in my daily driver turbo Miata.

The only thing I regret is having a car payment again. I bought my 2005 c6 CPO and had it for ten years. It needed a water pump, radiator, and eventually rotors and pads. Oh, and I got to experience the dreaded column lock bypass debacle. But I fixed all those myself through great help on this forum. I was happy with it but at 120K on it was beginning to be a little long in the tooth, but it still ran like a champ. I looked at what I owed on my house and compared it to the current estimated house price and said you only live once. Haven't looked back since. The differences between the cars are night and day. The C7 just looks so much meaner than the c6. The handling is in another world, and all the bells and whistles are awesome.

Absolutely not...though I'd have liked to get it in my C6 Monterey Red metallic paint.

Wow, just took off the top. It is much lighter than the C6 top.
