Default Assembly Plant question

UPDATE - My new Corvette mysteriously arrived at my dealer in PA today around noon. March 27 2019

I have a car that was built 3/17/2019. It has been in Status 4B00 for about 6 days. I know what that is and what it means.
Today it’s status went to 4200 -Shipped from Bowling Green KY to Bowling Green KY. My car is NOT an R8C (Museum Delivery) Car. Does anybody have any idea why the car would show this shipping status?
My dealer is in Pennsylvania.

4800 Rail Ramp Unload

Weird, since your Vette to PA should go on a truck.

I'm not sure what is going on with your car, but congrats on the new Z Glenn! You're sneaky, I didn't see any posts on Facebook mentioning that you ordered this car! (I did see a few that you were thinking about it in the past though)

Strange thing. GM’s system showed the car at 4B00 which means it’s off the assembly line and “hanging out” at Bowling Green.
This morning it shows 4200 Shipped to Bowling Green as shown above

THEN at noontime today it shows up a my dealer in Pennsylvania. 😂

Are you sure it's your car or one that just looks like it?

Something akin to your situation happened to me. My car was supposed to be shipped from B/G to Toledo for train shipping to SoCal. Instead, as I was tracking it, the tracking number showed it was trucked to KC and trained out from there. Never was able to get an answer as to why.

Regardless of what the GM system is saying, your car has arrived and that’s what is important. Congrats on the new Z and enjoy it.

1) Your dealer can find current status out immediately with their computers.

2) GM’s On-Line Chat will tell you as well. All you need is your 6 Digit order identifier.

Your dealer can get the info. sometimes they will tell you they can't ,that's a lie. If they don't or won't get you the info, you can check it here by submitting the order number, the problem is that information is always at least 24-48 hrs. old.
