Most OM state the same w/regards to the heating elements/defroster. I’ve never had a problem on any car, truck, or SUV w/tint and the defrosters...

I never heard that before but down here in SW Florida I'd say every Corvette has tinted windows. I did both my last one and my present one. I think you need it here in the Sunshine State!

3 C7's, 3 with 5% tint on the back, no issues.

Go for it!

Whatever the tint limit is on the front windows I do on all including the rear in the coup, no issues whatsoever. The Texas sun demands it. I do this on all my vehicles and never a problem.

Done, no issue, would do it again in a heartbeat. I live in Arizona, so YMMV.

70% front window, you cannot tell and 35% (?) on all the others to include the back. Its perfect imo.

My Subaru OM also says not to tint re: defroster elements. I couldn't find this in the C7 OM. Regardless, the biggest problem my tint shop had was the little tiny Corvette wings embedded in the glass. I'm 5% around + 70% windshield on the C7. I love it; however, I still roll down the windows to backup.

I will say the C7s with the windows tinted sure look good. Now you’ve got me thinking about tinting the windows on my car.

I have 35% tint all around except the windshield. It’s been perfectly fine with no issues.

Huh... never thought of that.
You know that you can use all 4 rear view devices AND turn your head?! Whoduthunkit? (that's the dick in me fkg with you). IRL, I was taught to use the 2 side view mirrors for fast j-turns in reverse. Forgive me trusting my habit.
