Default Xpel - Front Splitter

Had the front of the car, lower rockers, mirrors and in front of the rear wheels Xpel'd about a year ago. Added a front splitter over the winter and wanted to get Xpel on that. Has anyone ever tried installing yourself? Wondered how difficult it was to do this. Also, do you know where you would locate just the splitter piece that is already cut?

May just have it installed by a pro if necessary.

Thanks,

Default Xpel

I did carbon flash stage 3. Xpel with a pro. I wanted it to look perfect.

After seeing what they go through during the install, I would just let a pro do it. You want it to be right.

I had my aftermarket splitter XPEL'd by a professional shop before I installed it. They had a hard time getting it right, especially where the splitter curves. I wouldn't attempt it myself - probably would have wasted my time/materials and ended up going with a pro after getting disgusted anyway.

Thanks,
Thank you for choosing XPEL for your Vette. As far as a DIY install, we highly recommend against it. Especially on curvy or difficult pieces like splitters, front bumpers, mirrors, and more. Best bet is find a local installer and have them do it.
