Default Panel removal

Has anyone popped off the hard plastic piece that goes across the rear upper window? I want to run the wire for my rear camera through the conduit back there. Looks like that piece needs to pop off.

are you talking about this piece? you can use a Spry Tool Kit or you finger grab from a corner and pull out and to the opposite direction

Yes that’s it. So it’s just held in by snap clips? It’s pretty solid plastic and I just don’t want to crack it.

just feel confident, it won't break, just pull from one direction to the other out (right to left or left to right) and keep moving your hand every 5 inches and keep pulling

Thanks for the info. I’ve had plenty of panels off the front interior. Just didn’t want to mess something up on the rear glass. I’m just getting ready to install dash cams and don’t like surprises in the middle of a project 👍🏻

Mine popped off without damage. I hide an aftermarket Sirius XM antenna back there when my factory unit stopped working.

Got the panel off fairly easy without it cracking. Thanks for the help.

What did you use to fish the cable through the rubber conduit into headliner? Looks like I just need to pop top off and rear liner pops off and I’ll have access to the hole.
