Console lid
Has the new console lids been fixed or do they still get dents and elbow marks in them? Was thinking of getting a stingray stitched one but no sense in that if the are still defective..?

I believe Tadge said they are now using thicker foam to deal with that issue.

Much better! I'm on my 4th lid and finally this revised part is holding up perfectly. They changed the adhesive used attaching the leather to the foam.

Good to know that they have addressed that issue on the car.

I'm on my second one and I think I convinced my dealer to replace it again. Hopefully I get the newer revised part.

You will, they used up the previous part # long ago before rolling out the revised.

How would one of these help with the dimples the armrest gets? Wouldn't it still happen?

It helps hide it but the newer consoles aren't supposed to fail so easily either

Great simple mod. Much more comfort when resting on it. Easy to clean. Not using to cover any wrinkles.
