Default IMSA racing.

Since the yellow C5R won it's class at LeMans, I've been a fan of Corvette Racing! Now, since I own my own Grand Sport, I have a whole new enthusiasm!!!

I loved watching IMSA but since the rule change limiting HP I am losing interest. For years Corvette dominated, hence the drop the HP limit and now they struggle. If they were allowed to run the production ZR1 or Z06 package they would spank the class. Nascar has done same, more required downforce and restrictor plates at even short tracks are favoring the Fords and Toyotas. At Indy when Chevy reentered the game they were spanking the Hondas the month leading up to the race, so what does the league do? Makes Chevy cut HP and increase downforce. What happened to the days when you could show up with fastest car and others had to work to get better? Now if you are too fast, the make you tune down. In the end it appears racing is about sponsorship $. In Nascar, Ford and Toyota are major sponsors as well as Chevy and with that they dont want anyone to gain advantage. Same in Imsa and Indy. Sad.....racing used to about innovation....no longer.
