Door release under hatch
When I pull the release it just partly opens the driver's door. Is there a means to complete the process? Extra strength doesn't help.
Thanks.

I don't have that problem on my'14, but do on my'05. I have to reach in from the DS and pull on the door when I pull on the cable on the trunk.
It's a good thing I have ape arms.

My door opens fine by pulling the release.

Just thinkin' out loud here, but do you think a little WD40/Silicon spray on the latch might help?

Well dang, it's true. You learn something new everyday. It's still not the image I have in my mind though............

Short-waisted, long-limbed does sound more graceful.

Lisa- I'm built the same way. All legs and arms. Great for reaching for stuff. Not so great on airplanes.
