Perhaps not nothing, but the tests that generate those numbers don’t include making fast corners, aggressive stops etc.
Frankly, I am amazed at how well the OEM ties perform and their low wear. Recall getting ~15,000 on the OEM tires on my 1988 Vette; ~10,000 on the “sticky” Continentals I replaced them with. My 1993 Vette was not much better. Switched from the terrible Goodyear’s on my C6 at ~15,000 miles and replaced them with Firestone which performed better.
But folks are reporting ~25,000+ life on the OEM C7 tires. Looks like my Grand Sport can reach that. Now if you drive it like a Prius perhaps there are better tires for life. But why buy a Vette! :lol
