A quick thanks to Mike C. with Soler for handling the process with class. A brief history, I grabbed a slightly used Tony Mamo TB off one of our posters on here and was ready to do the install. About that time the Soler Eng. Zr-1 piece was going around. Then there were the detail posts on performance gains as well as some very positive feedback from posters on the net results. What I found compelling was that they not only sell their "built in house" TB, but they also will re-port / polish a couple other competitors to meet the spec of their unit. That said the math for me to sell the TM T. Body and grab the SE version did not work out as well as having them "Upgrade" it and pay the up-charge ($250).
While I have not installed it (I will posted "seat of the pants" review after this weekend), I did want to share the process and pics of T.Mamo vs. Soler TB. Pics are hard to do justice in the difference. They took the T.M port and polish to a whole new level and while not an engineer the science behind it makes sense. I did not think at the time to actually measure the difference unfortunately, maybe if Mike is reading this, he might know. I know alot of the "Magic" is in the electronics that they add as well.
I hope this helps Tony Mamo Soler Eng.
