It's that easy. These cars do stupid things with a weak, or dead battery.

Electrical problems
Bought a 2016 Z51 Convertible late last year. Love the color , Laguna Blue. Put it in Storage for 5 Months , no battery Tender on it. Storage area was Heated. Started the car 3 weeks ago . Yesterday it would not start, dead battery I presume.
Got it going with a 200 Amp charger. Now I can not open the trunk with the Key fob or from inside the car. Also I get crazy messages on the dash. Air Bag needs Service, Open the Driver window & Close it . Top not Secure. The seat belt indicator & ringing sound come on all the time. Also lost all of the Radio presets.
What's going on?

OK, first go buy a new battery.

I would suggest you get yourself a battery maintainer and keep it connected when in the garage. CTEK is a well respected brand or if you like the Corvette flag logo buy yourself a Corvette GM battery tender.
