A/C problem

A/C problem

just got a 2014 z51 lt3 and if i have the auto climate control off and the a/c off and the fan off there is no air on...but if i turn the fan only on the a/c kicks in... i cant' find a way to have the fan on without the a/c kicking on...any suggestions.

After you turn on the fan, press the A/C button to turn it off.

the a/c button is off but air still kicks on...auto and a/c are off when i turn on the fan but the a/c kicks in.

Try setting the temp to a higher number. If the HVAC senses it need to turn on the AC in order to pull the temp down, it will kick on regardless. HOWEVER, if AC is indeed on, the LED in the button will be on too (except if you have the temp set to LO. the compressor will kick on with no light)

For the life of me I cannot understand why people dick around with the a/c. Chill and subscribe to the Ron Popiel method of A/C control: Set it and forget it. The auto setting works perfectly so why fool around with it?
