Bent/Cracked Wheels
Would a Forum Member attending the NCM Bash please raise the issue on the Bent/Cracked wheel issue?
This really needs to be escalated within GM.
Thanks

Is this a Z06? Or is this on the Stingray also?

Grand Sport and Z06 OEM wheels.
Check out the Ask Tadge section for GMs response.

Forged, is the way to go it seems. I wished GM didn't outsource the rims. Seems they took a shortcut that costs the owners.

Not sure if it’s s Design Issue or Manufacturing Quality issue.
Either way, the owners are suffering the consequences!!!

Does seem ridiculous that GM can't get the bent/cracked wheel under control. This is no way to keep customers coming back.

Why, it's almost like they think their future customers will buy the C8 (which won't have wheel issues)!

I just don’t like being lied to. This months Corvette Magazine reprinted TAdge’s response to the forum.
Gm had no data.
But I doubt GM keeps a record of denied claims. Seems once GM denies the first claim for a dealer, the will stop submitting since the dealer knows the answer.
