2019 GS arriving later this week and I’m considering getting the CP Gold package applied to the new car. I’d be interested in hearing other people’s experience with this ceramic coating package, what it cost them, how is it holding up for them and other thoughts they may have about this product.
Is this a better way to spend some money protecting the car than doing the clear bra paint protection? I was planning to cover the front, hood, and fender area, but what exactly is this stuff?

To prevent chips from road debris, pebbles etc the PPF is the best. I have Xpel on my full front, mirrors, roof and fenders and it's a great product. You can then apply ceramic coating to keep it dirt and grime free for easier maintenance.

Ceramic makes it shiny and works like a wax that takes years to wear off. Water will pour off the car. It doesn't protect the paint any more than waxing it regularly.
PPF absorbs the hits that would chip the paint and does a better job of that kind of protection.
Put the film on and ceramic over it so you don't have to wax so often.
^^^ Looks awesome!! Did they remove the wheels and ceramic coat them as well as the windows for that price. If so, you got a very good deal.
Yes. They did the wheels, all glass and the inside door frames. I should note the regular price would have been $1900 but the local installer gives our Corvette Club a discount.

Our local guy discounts it to $2K for our Corvette club, so you did well. What did they quote you on the annual refresh cost?
So, I take it that we have to have our cars "inspected" and/or coated Yearly to protect the warranty????
I just drove home after a "Gold PKG" Wheels off for $ 3K with extras. 3 days in the shop.
They want to wash and inspect in two weeks for free.
Anyone forgo the annual inspection to save the Fee?
Can we just BUY the new "top coat" and spread on ourselves?
I have to admit I'm very impressed and would do it again.
The Works in Albany, NY 12205 ask for Kory the Vet. owner.

Yes the annual coat is a full exterior detail and reapply the top coat to protect the under layers and maintain the lifetime warranty.
Bankers - Ceramic Pro only sells their products to authorized (by them) installers, so you won’t be able to buy it. Also, in order to maintain the lifetime warranty for the Gold package, you MUST have one of their installers do the annual recharge or you will loose the warranty. Shop around (use Ceramic Pro website to locate installers) locally to find installers that charge less.
Ceramic coatings are the way to go for sure...results speak for themselves. I skipped the professional installers and went the DIY route...something to think about. If you enjoy detailing your car you’ll find it very rewarding.
