No i do not work for a competitor. I did 44 years as a in home appliance tech and now retired. I bought a 65k car that had a brake dust problem. I did research on brake pads and the Power Stop looked good and more than half the price of the Carbotech pads. I got the Power Stop pads and with in weeks the rotor stains started. I would not care if i could not see the rotors on my C7 corvette. I tried to contact Power Stop about the problem and after multiple e-mails and phone calls they told me it was rust on my rotors. I did not give up and got to talk to a tech and he said there was a problem with their Z26 pads and sent me another set of pads. After removing the stains with scotch brite pads and a mouse sander i changed the pads again. The stains came back and Power Stop refused to help me.
Next i got Carbotech pads cleaned the rotors again and now no Brown Stains.
And yes i am obsessed an on a mission how Power Stop does not make good products and correct their problems. Their pads are made in China Junk !!!!

Look NO BROWN Stains and no dust thanks to Carbotech Pads.
I love my Powerstop Z26 Extreme pads. Maybe you just got a bad batch. It happens. You swapped out pads to a brand you like better, move on man, life is too short to dwell on the little things.
Wrecker3, how do you figure Powerstop did not help you? You stated they sent you another set. You could have easily made all your money back and then some by selling both sets on here to somebody who wants them. You stated yourself they refused to replace your GM rotors and then you turn around and say you just cleaned them off and they were fine. So they did not give in to your ridiculous demands for new rotors so you threw a hissy fit. Now you are on a mission to get revenge. But in the process you're making yourself look foolish. Cool story bro.... Tell it again!

How do you reconcile the FACT that not everyone has the problem. Indeed, if one goes by the posts in the C7 section alone, far more DON'T have the problem than do.
