Has anyone added nav on a c7 that didn’t originally have it

I would just use the android auto/apple carplay. Uses data, but IMO does the trick and doesn't need any software updates.

Mine came with Nav, but I can only imagine what it would take to add factory Nav to the car. I would imagine that some manufacturer (like Pioneer) would offer an aftermarket system that has Nav.

Had GM NAV on my 2014 Z51. The cost of updates when I had better NAV Garmin with Free updates made me get a 2LT Grand Sport.

Started by mounting my Garmin in the Cubby behind the center screen.

The got an iPhone and use Apple CarPlay. Love it! Fills the center screen. All I use now.

On a 2 hr trip using back roads from Drag Strip in Charlotte, Apple NAV found a short cut that GM or Garmin never found before!

To all those using Car Play on C7 I suggest using the “WAZE” app for navigation. It is great! If you have
it installed on your iphone it will appear on the infotainment screen under car play!
