2017 warble gone after rear diff service
It's been a while since I've seen a post or comment about the noise and am not sure if people are getting it resolved or if its even an issue on the newer rays. Anyway, I had the dealer do the rear diff service at 26000 miles and the noise is completely gone. The service was about $230 after taxes and it's not just a drain and fill as I thought previously. I would have tried going the warranty route but didn't want to deal with 2 years of "problem not found" or "cannot replicate". I'm not sure if there something different about the fluid or if the diff fluid was just low or dirty but id put my money on low fluid.
