Although my car is a 2016 Z06 convertible, I suspect this question applies to all C7 cars. I bought the car new three years ago. When running the heater/ventilation controls set to "Vent" and "Lo" temperature (A/C off), the air coming from the vents is hot. The A/C works fine, but ventilation air temp control is non-existent. I mentioned this twice to the selling dealer, and was told it is normal because the air inlet is underhood. I'd forgotten about it until I took the car for a "first ride" of the season. About 65 degrees outdoors, and with the top up and HVAC set to "vent", as soon as water temp was normal the hot air flowed through the vents.
Has anyone else experienced this, or have any advice? Thanks.

I have that problem too. When the Ac is off I will not put it on vent as the air is pretty warm. If I have the roof on and the windows up even though its not to hot out I will turn the ac on and set about 70 or so just to keep it comfortable I wish there would be some way to bring in cool outside air into the car without opening the windows

Bill,
I too have the exact same problem. Even with temps around low 60's, the vent (no AC on, temp set LO) still blows hot air. I guess the best solution is to keep the AC on and adjust the temperature accordingly.
