Hi all,

I’ve done plenty of searching on here and there are many exhaust discussions around. but typically they all go down the same path. Borla (ATAK) or the Corsa extreme...or sometimes a billy boat.

I have the NPP setup (already done the corsa off-road pipe), and despite pulling that fuse out I wouldn’t want to get a system that doesn’t have NPP.

So, that leaves me with the Borla ATAK. I’m not really feeling the billy boat, but my question is, why doesn’t anyone ever mention the magnaflow option?

‘Magnaflow Competition Series 19379’

is there anything actually wrong with it? Is it bad?... looking at the size of the mufflers, they are way smaller than the Borla atak... so, would that mean louder?

one of my must haves, is the same equal spacing between all 4 tips, I don’t like the 2 and 2 with a gap in the middle look.

i can only find one or two videos out there. It seems good....

We can't comment on the volume difference between the Atak and our Competition system since we haven't tested it, but it does sound like the Competition checks all of your boxes. Our signature sound has always been more of a deep, classic muscle sound, as opposed to higher pitched and exotic like some of the other aftermarket options. I have the Magnaflow Comps with Corsa X pipe. The car just rocks and is incredible.

Can't speak to the other systems but I can tell you I love the Borla S-Type Axle Back system I have on my 2019 Stingray. Incredible sound and zero drone. Works perfectly with my NPP system. If you have not already been there, go to the Boral website, type in the 2019 Corvette and listen to the video (click the red arrow). I think you will be convinced Borla is the way to go. I also went with the Ceramic Black tips. I am not a big fan of the stock "trumpets" and love the flat black 4.5" tips. https://www.borla.com/

while I’m sure the s-type is great... I would want all 4 tips to be evenly spaced. Black looks cool though!

afe.... I haven’t ever heard anything about that one...

i just cant bring myself to spend about $2,000 + $500 at the dealership to install, after just buying the car with NPP system 2 months ago! Unless it’s going to make a big difference to the sound!
