Supposed to be taking delivery of my car within the next few days, the business manager is trying to sell me on their offering of a ceramic coating. They claim it is good for 7-10 years and they guarantee it for 5. They need the car for 2 additional days and want $2000 (Canadian dollars, approx $1450 USD) to do the full exterior including the wheels and calipers. I’m not completely sold as I’ve always done my own detailing, plus I had thought about doing the front end in Xpel anyway since I live around a lot of rural roads. Lastly I’ve never heard of the product they are using...
Constructive comments and advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I agree with doing the Xpel first and then decide if you want to do the ceramic coating. I think I would have the coating done by somone other than a dealership.
