I switched to the 360 Max for the simple reason the V1 had poor BSM rejection...

I even talked with V1 research before making the move, and they couldn’t tell me when it would be updated.

FWIW, I was a V1 user from the beginning.

Is it better, well that’s subjective to me, but the Max works great and the BSM rejection is much better.

I have the R7 and the R3. Got away from the V1 years ago because of the lack of a GPS database. The R7 has very few false alarms and the alert time is amazing. A clear winner to me. IMO Valentine is falling way behind the power curve, started with the R3 and the gap has widened tremendously with the R7.

Got my R7 a few weeks ago and love it. I use it in my car. The R3 is still great as well and I run it in my daily driver truck.

Max 360C does not have range of R3/R7 but better all around including wi fi updates, app to change settings, better built, auto mute, less false alarms..

My V1 was retired because it was not keeping up with the competition in range or features. I had the V1 for ~20 years and I faithfully had it updated as recommended by V1. I've had the R7 for a few weeks, done 1 update to it and it seems to be working quite well. My false alarms are down with the settings adjusted in the menu. I am very pleased with it's performance and function.

My experience and conclusion as well.

I used an updated V1 for years and found the arrows wonderfully useful, but switched to the Max 360 and added a Max 360C once Escort added arrows. They have been wonderful.

My first is the Escort 360c and love it. Got tired of waiting for the R7 and said what the heck and got the 360c. Probably going to add laser shifters to the package in a bit and have the full meal deal. The R7 may have a slightly better range, but the 360c has not disappointed me yet.
